Keep Reminding Yourself

Here’s the thing.
You might not always get the encouragement you need from the people you need or want it from.
You might not hear the words you long for someone to say which would soothe your heart and stop the tears that hover just on the waterline ready but not really wanting to make that drop.
You might not feel someone or anyone believing in you or seeing your potential when you have no idea what you’re even supposed to do with your life and you just hope someone who loves you can see it because you can’t.
You might be that encourager for other people and see it happening for so many others and wonder why someone isn’t encouraging you or believing in you or taking the time to know or share your vision(s).
You might be seen by many but long to be SEEN.
And this is why we all need to find ways of encouraging ourselves.

It’s not just you.

It’s all of us.

Speak those words to yourself.
Soothe the ache in your chest and let the tears fall, cleanse your body of that misplaced pain and keep believing in yourself.
Pray or meditate or spend time in nature or dance or journal or create or do whatever connects you to the source of us all.
You don’t have to have everything figured out all the time.
You don’t have to be like anyone else to receive anyone’s encouragement or compliments or accolades or admiration.

You’re worthy of your own, whether the people in your life are helping you see that or not.
Keep reminding yourself of your value.

Keep reminding yourself of your worth.

Keep reminding yourself of your you-ness.

If you’re not sure of it, please send me a message and let’s rediscover you

together.
