The world is a beautiful place but it is also a painful place, and it can’t heal the way it needs to without you being you.

You were put here with certain gifts in ways that are unique to you. Even if someone else has the same gift, they can’t deliver it the same way you can because they are not you. They haven’t been through what you’ve been through and their heart is not your heart. This is on purpose because together we all complete the puzzle.

You have a way of being YOU and we need that more than ever.

I believe the more we all do work that doesn’t matter to us, because we are afraid, and we are chasing dollars out of fear, the more ugliness is going to keep showing up in the world. Dollars are not a priority. I’m not saying money isn’t useful or helpful and I’m not saying money can’t be used to do amazing things or that we don’t deserve an abundance of it. I believe we do. What I am saying is that dollars are not a priority. People are a priority. Love is a priority. Taking care of each other, ourselves, and this planet, are priorities.

My husband said to me many years ago, before we were married, “love doesn’t pay the bills.” And he’s right. But without it we pay the price.

It is through our decision and commitment to be who we were each made to be,

to show up with the gifts we were born with,

to make decisions from a place of love, not fear,

that we will heal this world.

We are all here to be who we were made to be, not who we are told to be.

I hope you love yourself enough to see the value in you. I hope you love yourself enough to embrace the gifts you were sent here with. I hope you love yourself enough to believe there are countless people waiting for and looking for what you have to offer, your piece of the puzzle.
