There are so many of us who have grown up in

and spent lifetimes in environments,

relationships,

families,

churches,

cultures ...

which have conditioned us

with conditional love

so much so

that it is the only kind we know.

I think the greatest tragedy from this isn't that we don't recognize unconditional love from others,

nor is it that we don't know how to unconditionally love others ...

Perhaps the greatest tragedy from this

is when we aren’t taught how

to unconditionally love

the one who needs our unconditional love the most:

our Self.

Why is this so important? I believe our relationship with ourselves is the foundation for every experience in our life.
